He was born in Pordenone on 14/12/1991. Since he was a child, Salvatore Garasto,  was very interested in music. He began to play the piano at the age of 12, with a private teacher after 1 year as a self-taught. He Began to have such a strong interest in classical music, that  used to study famous musicians / composers  like Mozart, Beethoven, Bach etc. .. He became exited by classical music composition. At the age of  13 he discovered the famous band "The Beatles" and began to play as a  self-taught classical guitar with the help of a lot of books. A year later, he bought an economic electric guitar, a copy of a Fender stratocaster, and within months he started to play grunge and  to listen and play some songs made by Metal bands like Iron Maiden or Metallica. At the same time he left  piano lessons because of disagreements between his parents and his piano teacher . Learnt the basics of the instrument (guitar), he formed a band with some school mates, known  as "the illness", playing some songs made by bands like Nirvana and Hole. At the same time he was playing  with another drummer  with whom he will do the first concert of his life, though with little success. However, with The Illness things go much better. They played at a festival in Cordenons (their first concert) debuted with some Nirvana, Seether, Guns n Roses, cranberries and Haggard covers. the group began to tilt more and more to Metal music. the band "The Illness" became "Crows of blade" and began to play  thrash death metal ... but after some time the band stopped to exist. At the dawn of 2007, Giulio Kowalsi (Heilgard) and Enrico Campello (Gyrd) took the decision to started a folk - viking metal band  (Giulio likes so much this kind of music) asking to Salvatore to enter as lead guitar. From this moment, have begun the long history of Nordenvarg ....
Besides having these groups Asgaror took  part in the school band of the liceo Michelangelo Grigoletti l and in a local rock band. He also did a  One man band (he can also play the keyboards and the drums). His compositions are  syphonic metal genre (style Haggard), but also Death, classical and celtic.

 Un anno dopo viene in possesso di una economica chitarra elettrica, copia di una Fender Stratocaster, e nel giro di pochi mesi inizia a darsi al grunge per poi passare al Metal ascoltando e suonando gruppi come Iron Maiden e Metallica. Nello stesso periodo abbandona le lezioni di pianoforte ma imparate le basi dello strumento (chitarra) forma un gruppo con dei compagni di scuola, noto in seguito come "The Illness", con il quale fanno cover di band come Nirvana e Hole. Contemporaneamente suona con un altro suo amico batterista (Federico) col quale farà il primo concerto della sua vita, anche se con poco successo. Tuttavia, con i The Illness le cose vanno molto meglio. Suonano ad una sagra a Cordenons (il loro primo concerto) debuttando con cover dei Nirvana, dei Seether, dei Guns 'n Roses, Cranberries, ecc ma anche degli Haggard: il gruppo inizia a inclinarsi sempre di più al Metal. I “The Illness” diventano “Crows of Blade” e iniziano a fare un thrash death metal…ma dura poco. All’alba del 2007, Giulio Kowalski (Heilgard) ed Enrico Campello (Gyrd) prendono la decisione di sperimentare un gruppo folk/viking metal (genere molto apprezzato da Giulio in particolare) chiedendo a Salvatore di entrare come lead guitar. Oltre ad avere questi gruppi Asgaror ha fatto (e fa tutt’ora) parte del gruppo della scuola Liceo Michelangelo Grigoletti e di un gruppo rock locale. Ha fatto anche un gruppo One man band sapendo suonare in modo discreto anche tastiera e batteria. Le sue composizioni sono molteplici e di un genere syphonic metal (stile Haggard), ma anche Death, classica e celtic.

Strumentazione: Ibanez JS 1000BTB + pedaliera multieffetto VOX + amplificatore da 100W con effetti Hughes & Kettner + impianto voce con mixer 600W utilizzato per le prove del gruppo + pianoforte tastiere e batteria per sala prove.
